Burger King, Dairy Queen, and Bestsellers
My mom had won herself a slot for this Burger King blogger event. Yesterday, we went to Robinson’s Galleria for our free meal for at Burger King. There were 5 of us, even if the event stated that it was for a blogger plus at most 3 more people. My mom brought me, and my two brothers, and I brought Fee along as well. Mom just paid for whatever extra orders we had. The ‘Galle’ BK, gave us free drinks (good for 4), free sundaes, free fries and onion rings, and free Junior Whoppers. It wasn’t a big event or anything. We just ate our meal peacefully. Burger King has always had good food and that time wasn’t any more special. (Aside from the fact that it was free :p) The manager was really nice though. She took our orders patiently, and even attended to our needs. (Such as me asking for the password for the day which was this really long password. Their net was fast! <3 ) The staff was nice too. Since my mom has braces and has a hard time biting her food, or opening her mouth too wide, she asked the staff if they would be so kind as to slice her burger for her. And they did! That was really nice of them to do. I’d think they’d just give you a knife if you asked. :)
Afterward, we went to Dairy Queen so I could satisfy my craving for a blizzard. Then Fee and I wandered to Humor Post, just to look around, then we went to Bestsellers Bookstore to look at their graphic design books. We found this really great book which has a very nice selection of calling cards. I’m thinking of designing my mom a new calling card. I don’t like her current one. I feel insulted. (even if I myself, aren’t a good designer yet) But it couldn’t be helped since I had no time to make one for her, and she wanted it ASAP so she could give them out during events. I also found this cute book of adorable dogs. It was something like… 101 adorable dogs. Most of the dogs had pictures of them with puppy dog eyes. <3 Then it was time to go home. It made me sad since I love bookstores and I really liked that one. Plus, I wasn’t finished wandering around yet. :(
